Property Management regulation poll

New Zealand is one of the few countries in the OECD that does not regulate its property managers

This has a negative impact on the livelihoods of tenants and landlords who are reporting bad experiences due to property managers acting unprofessionally and not being accountable for their actions. It also jeopardises the reputation of good property managers who are doing a great job in the industry.

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) is calling on the Government to put an end to bad property management experiences by regulating the industry.

We are calling on all parties in Government to include property management regulation as part of their property portfolio in their 2020 election manifestos.
